Can somebody point me to a thread or tell me what is the difference between Syncron Player and Vienna Instruments Player? I have purchased the special edition 1 and some addons for VI player will those ever be used in Syncron player or are they different beasts all together?

Thank you

Hi,

in short: VI player is for the traditional VI instruments, Synchron player is for Synchron / Synchronized instruments.
These players are not compatible to each other, so you can't use Syn Player with VI instruments and vice versa.

At the moment you can't use MIRx, sequence mapping and stretching in Synchron player, but I think we will see at least sample stretching in a future update. The other features of VI Pro are included in the Synchron Player for free.

Best, Ben
