I'm new to VSL, just purchased Smart Orchestra and expansion.

As the libraries sound good, I want to use them in multitimral mode in Reaper, one keyboard layout per MIDI channel so to speak. Following sentence on the product page states "Instantiating the expanded Vienna Smart Orchestra on several tracks, you can even create complex polyphonic string arrangements", so I assumed this is possible. If not, it's wasted money ...

However, I see no way of changing MIDI channels within the program.

Anayway to achieve this ? I saw the videos and I'm still in the dark here.

Could anyone advise here please ?

Hello Emvee,

This is achieved by isolating the string sections (solo instruments).

The Synchron Player itself stays mono-timbral, but you can insert it on multiple tracks in your host (sequencer or Vienna Ensemble).

Did you check out Guys Tutorials yet?
