Hi, Sorry, newbie question. I did not find any real answer in the manual on that issue.
I have a master DAW on my mac (logic or cubase). I plan to connect 2 windows PC slaves with VEPro 7. connected in another room via LAN. Instruments on Slave will be via Kontakt plugin.
My Question: Where can I adjust instruments settings in the Kontakt GUI, eg select Articulation, Arpeggio etc ? Can I do this in a „window“ within my master DAW on my Mac -or- Do i have to connect to remote slave windows PC and use screenshare tools like eg teamviever ?
Maybe there is a good howto video on youtube, which indid not find yet ?
Thanks much !!

Hi Michael,
Yes, a screensharing tool like AnyDesk, TeamViewer or VNC will make life easier. You should avoid using RDP. There are known issues where VEP can get instable if RDP is used.

Hi Ben Thx for your prompt answer.
I really had believed that the GUI-screen from the slave instrument plugin (eg Noire Piano from Native Instruments) Would appear in the Master DAW as new window, just as if it was local.
But this is NOT possible, right ?

No, this is not possible, I'm afraid.

it make this soft unusable for a multi pc config for many vst which need to have, when woptking on daw, the gui of the vst on screen, for explore, choose a preset, adjust this parameter ot this another one, put on off this mic etc... the benefit of having a slave pc for libraries always loaded is still here but...

I agree with this statement, and have never really found good information or a viable work-around to using Vienna efficiently. How do people adjust the many parameters of many VSTs with many keyswitches and many CCs, all specific to the vendors, etc?
