I have libraries from numerous sources (Spitfire, Orchestral Tools etc) but I am really loving the BBO libraries. Quick and fun, imnspirational.
Now VSL, get a move on and give us some more - one a month should be ok for me :)
Ps: I will allow you to go one every two months, but thats it!

Don't worry, more is coming soon. And from what I have heard so far I'm excited myself :)

I liked the idea of splitting the orchestra into high and low of Capricorn. In the spirit of it how about two-note "chords" with short and long notes, perhaps with some of the articulations of Andromeda:
- minor and major thirds
- fourths
- fifths
- sixths
Then you can builld chords putting the lower and higher registers together. Of course the orchestra could also be split up into three non-overlapping regions.
Or simply additions to the chord hits of Black Eye:
- half-diminished
- sus4 and sus4 - think pop music
- open fourth - think metal - ;)
- 1st and 2nd inversion of major and minor chords (and others?)
Ok, the ideas are not really thrilling

More string articulations:
- pizzicato (with soft brass)
- snap pizzicato
- sul ponticello
- con sordino
- (atificial) harmonics (with soft brass)
Or sustained notes with brass and woodwind playing "flutter tongue".

Thanks for the info. I'm working on a project as I'm writing a paper about some famous composers with https://edubirdie.com/citation/apsa/ and I'll definitely use the sources you're talking about. Sometimes we need some help with educational stuff. Edited by user Wed, Oct 21 2020 11:24
