Hi,

Thanks for reporting. Are you using any 3rd party anti-virus solution?
Try to temporary disable it and re-run the installer.

Let me know if this helps!

Best, Ben

the 6.5 update from this morning is not working at all for me either on win10 - first issue in about 15 years with VE that I can remember. No error messages but it fails to connect automatically (after trying 2-3 times depending on host) and if you try to connect manually, simply get dialog "cannot connect to service".

Uninstall/reinstall/reboot -- all the usual stuff. What's happened here? If it's not possible to fix quickly could the previous version be made availalble again?

we had some network related issues under Windows with the batch of releases made earlier today. We have just uploaded new builds to replace them - so ensure to update all software you installed this morning, before trying again.

Thank you Martin, I remember I had some Windows update the day before, I guess it had something to see with...
Best,
Alain
