Hi
I notice that the long notes (soft) without cbt patch in Hercules appears to be the same as the Legato soft patch, making it somewhat redundant.
Why is it set up like this? Doesn't really make sense to have "with and without CBT" if "without" is the same as the legato patch?

Hi assagai,
Single note articulations always need less voices, as they are not connecting notes like the legato performances do.

Thanks for the explanation Paul, stunning libraries by the way, having a bast with them!

Hi,
Same here. The patch long notes (soft) without cbt plays only monophonic, same patch with cbt plays polyphonic. Since both patches belong to the „sustain“ category and not the „legato“ category, I would expect both to be playable polyphonic, right? That doesn’t make sense, I think the patch needs to fixed (it’s such a nice one after all). I am confused.
Other than that, great new sounds!
Best,
H

Hi H,
Thanks, I didn't realize that - thanks for elaborating. We'll fix it!

I have found similar behavior in the combined Lyra & Musca legato patch. The legato patch seems to be exactly the same as the sustains patch. I don't see anything in the manual covering this.
Edit: on closer listening it seems the legato patch has a faster attack.
