Hi,
What is the difference in use between the Pedal-up settings and the Pedal-down settings on the Bosendorfer Imperial? If I wanted to use both pedal up and pedal down articulations in a MIDI piece, would I need to change keyswitches from one to the other for a given series of notes or chords? I'm assuming the live playing from the MIDI keyboard input of pedal up or down does not have any effect on the basic articulations of 01 Bos-Imp_Di pedal-up and Bos-Imp_Ci pedal-down. Am I right? Thanks.

Hi Zaffer,
I'm not sure if you talk about the Bösendorfer included in the SE 1, or the discontinued VI Bösendorfer that runs in the Vienna Instruments player. In both cases you can load the preset/matrix and you are good to go without manually setting this up.

Thanks Ben, I am talking about the Bösendorfer I bought a while back for 115 Euros. I haven't been working with presets, forgot about those! So, does the preset work by allowing the musician to change between pedal up and pedal down by sending a CC 64 message while he or she is playing? Thanks.

By default it's the CC for sustain-pedal, but you can change it after you have loaded the preset to any CC you like.

Hi Ben,
I have it all figured out. Thanks so much for your help.
