I just upgraded a lot of drivers with AVG Driver Updater on Windows 10. Since this update, if I try to run VEP, it starts normally, but if I try to add an instance, it crashes immediately. This is true whether it is on alone or whether I am trying to connect to it from my DAW (DP). Other plugins work normally within DP, including the Synchron Player. I have the latest version of VEP. I also tried reinstalling, no difference. This is a big problem for me! Help!

Maybe you can uninstall the driver updates via AVG Driver Updater? Then you could update your drivers one by one until you know which on is the "bad" driver. Maybe you also could use Windows System Restore to reset your system to an earlier state.
These are deeper inventions in your system so I hope the developers of VEP can give you a better hint which drivers are involved when adding an instance.

Thanks.
I tried doing a system restore to before all the driver updates, but that did not solve the problem. :-(
There were 127 drivers updated, so one by one ..... :-(

I looked at ...\VSL\Vienna Ensemble Pro\crashdumps\app and although there are dumps there, they are much older, from 2019. I also searched for .dmp files, but the ones I found are for other apps, and much older. So either these new crashes are not leaving dumps, or now they are somewhere else?
Where should I look?
At this point I can't do any work, with VEP totally non-functional. :-(
