I'm just starting my first = project with Synchron Strings Pro. How do I get the short patches, like pizz., to use velocity as control, but long patches, like legato, to use, say controller #1?
I see another post here says "Select the slot, go to EDIT, Change the "Velocity Crossfade" property from "Global" to "Off". But when I select the pizz slot all I see under edit is Release Voice Limit and Performance Release.

Hi belkina,
there is a default preset called (Violins, Violas, Cellos......) XF sus which will set it up for you so that only the long articulations are controlled by Velocity crossfade.
If you want to set it up yourself, make sure that you have selected the last dimension tree Eg. when you select Pizzicato articulation in the Articulation column (dimension tree), you won't see the Velocity crossfade option. You have to select pizzicato articulation in the last dimension tree, in this case, it's the one with the name Type.

Ahh, make sure that you have selected the individual final articulation at the end of the tree structure. If you selected a cell that splits off into other cells, then the global velocity crossfade will not show, as that is not the last cell in the chain... does that make sense?
