  • Hi Paul,

thanks, the Manual i already know.

They Sound obviously a bit different.

  • Hi Ron,

We recorded more velocities with Synchron Strings I.

Yes, Synchron Strings Pro is designed to be used in combination with Synchron Strings I.

Synchron Strings Pro was recorded after Synchron Strings I, with a stronger emphasis on expression and more detailed legato options, including portamento.

Yes, the samples they share are exactly the same, which is why we are offering an optimized version of Synchron Strings I.

    Best,
    Paul

  • I wish you would make an optimized versions of the short articulations only from the original library. This is where you really want the extra dynamic layers;)

  • Hi,

In our opinion, the slightly reduced number of velocities we added in Synchron Strings Pro, work really well.

And of course you can keep the original Synchron Strings I, if that's important for your work.

    Paul

    Hi Paul,

imho. The shorts of Synchron Strings I with their higher number of dynamics sound more detailed, and realistic than Synchron Strings Pro, that's why I feel it would be very useful if I could have an optimized version of Synchron Strings I that includes the shorts. or just offers the shorts. I have both Synchron Strings I, and Pro,  I would really like to just add the shorts to my Pro version, without having to use Synchron Strings I. That's the part of Synch. Str I that I feel is the most impressive.

So, maybe you will think about offering the shorts from Synch. Str I as an option for Synchron Strings Pro users like myself. I'm sure many Synchron Strs. Pro user would love this option as well.

    Thanks,

    Muziksculp

  • Hi muziksculp,

Can you please post a short example where the difference is shown?

    Best,
    Paul

    Hi Paul,

I deleted Synchron Strings I from my SSD, so I can't compare. But I do recall that the Synchron Strings I shorts were more detailed sounding compared to the Synchron Strings Pro. Actually Synchron Strings I shorts were very impressive, that's why I still recall how good they are.

Maybe you can test them yourself to compare, and see what you think about them.

    Thanks,

    Muziksculp

  • Hi,

We have of course tested it and found that slightly reducing the velocity layers sits better with the sound of Synchron Strings Pro.

    Hi Paul,

If that's the case, then I'm happy as is. Synchron Strings Pro are great. I don't need the Optimized Shorts, or to add the Optimized Synchron Strings I content.

Would love to see Synchron Solo Strings released in the near future. 😎

    Thank You,
