    Hi,

    I just moved to the iLok versions of the software and I started the installation process using the Vienna Assistant. I noticed the download speed is very slow and the maximum parallel downloads is 3 which is quite low considering the size of some of the libraries. Even with bulk install option, I think it will take almost a week to download my installation files.

    Are there any tweaks or settings I can change to speed up this process? I have 1GB fibre internet connection so my speed to and from the internet is very quick for most downloads and I am hoping I have missed some setting in the software that might improve the download speed.

    Hi,
       after updating to the latest version of the Assistant I have to say the speed has increased and I have found it great to get all of the libraries and software back on and up to date for iLok. Great job and much easier to use than the download manager.

    There are some download peaks that are hard to predict, but we're doing our best to provide a steady download performance!

    In recent days I've had to restart Vienna Assistant every so often to get back an acceptable download speed. Interestingly, I didn't have this problem prior to v1.0.133. Sometimes the download speed will go down as low as a few bytes/sec. After restart I can get back to 3MB/sec.

    I've done speed tests to my local server and my connection is around 6MB/sec download speed. I am using a wireless extender rather than being plugged directly into the router but this hasn't changed since a week ago where I was getting more reliable and consistent download speeds.

    One time I had a file download at 100% but it never competed (turned green). It just sat at 100% with a trickle of a few bytes/sec. I had to cancel that particular download and start again. Maybe there was corruption.

    Overall, Vienna Assistant is working very well.
