  • New Piece

    Hi!

I am working on a new piece. I have just finished doing a draft version tonight. any thoughts?

    Its not completely polished.

How can I make the strings sound better? And does the ending sound convincing? This is the lowest in terms of dynamics I could go on strings.

And also, any word on orchestration?

    Thanks a lot.

  • the easiest way to make the strings more realistic: use crossfade patches and add a lot of subtle dynamics. Hairpins, (<>[;)], seem to be begging to be added.

  • A crescendo followed by a decrescendo - they usually follow the rise and follow of the harmonic tensions - <>
