Same here, constant value of 0.0 no matter what is being loaded into the VEP Pro Server(64bit).

which version of VEP officially supported 10.6.8 ? I just read that the latest update  5.3.13407 runs on 10.6 but is not officially supported. 

Is then the latest 10.6 version still available (which version number) ?

as mentioned in the " Subject Field " i use the Vienna Instruments Software ;-)

latest Version and latest Elicenser Software.

It doesn´t matter if i use the Plugin or Standalone, the Software freezes @ startup.

I´m on OSX 10.5.8, using Logic 9, latest Release.

After i click on the Programm Icon, the Programm won´t start. When i move the mouse to the Finder Menue i get the " beachball of death ". I doubblechecked the eLicenser for the Licenses and the Key itself and it should work.

These 2 Plugins create Distortion/Saturation/Tube FX.

I forgot to mention that some Products i was beta testing on had a Problem with the ATI 2600 XT Graphic Card which is being shipped with older Mac Pro´s. All the new Models are being shipped with NVIDIA´s .Maybe that helps.

While loading an older Setup from a previous Version, the GUI from Wallander Instruments got mashed up.

My System:

MacPro 2.8 GHz , 16 Gb Ram

OSX 10.5.8 

2x ATI Radeon 2600 XT ( shipped with the Mac Pro )

Important to mention: If you let VEP run for some hours and try to close it , the whole system gets sluggish. My 7th Core is peaking to the maximum and i have to force quit the Application which takes some time since the whole System is verry slow.

After the Force quit, everything goes back to normal.

Can anybody confirm this?

Update: I just added the Wallander Instruments Pro Edition Brass + 1 Altiverb Instance. The Dropout phenomenon came back !No Crash so far.

Memory usage 20 - 25 % and the VSL Ensemble Pro shows me 108 % CPU , 96 Threads, Physical mem = 2.15 GB, Virt. mem = 3.47 GB

When i disable the Server, the dropouts dissapear....for some Reason.....

It runs smooth. I will test it again while the Setup is growing. For now, it´s fine. 

Is it a Problem from the NI side ? It looks like that.......

My CPU meter is hanging around 17 - 20% . The Dropouts occure randomly. 

The Dropouts occure on VEP only but not in Bidule. 

Nothing really changed here either. After the latest beta everything seemed to run smooth but after some reboots the problem came up again.

Even the newest Kontakt 4 release has that behaviour. 

I´ll try to screen capture it and send that to the support team.

I just loaded my Steup again and the dropouts appeared out of nowhere. 

I´ll send you a crashlog as well cause i was trying to delete my 5 K3 instances by selecting all of them and via right click deleting them.

So far as i can tell , the NI Kontakt dropout Issue did not appear as well as the sluggish behaviour after closing the VE PRO Aplication.

Looking 4ward .........continue testing....

I´ve tried it in K4, no Luck yet....

same behaviour here (OSX 10.5.8 )except the fact that it occours with the Standalone as well. Please have in mind the Behaviour i´ve described earlier when , after some time , the whole system get´s sluggish after closing.

Like i said, it doesn´t happen in Bidule. 

Sorry, never heard about that. It doesn´t make any sense because it works with Kontakt only perfectly, even with Bidule !

Have the same Problem here. When i press Play, i hear the Note hangs and when i press stop , the sound stops.

Press Play again and it is coming back. For me the Programm is not usable at the Moment. I can´t get a decent Setup running.

I Run it now with Bidule and as far as i can see, no hangs, everything runs perfect so it must be a VE Pro Problem.
