--> Yes, it's as easy as that. If you want to use the samples on both computers at the same time, you have to purchase a second license, e.g. in our web shop. We offer discounts for second licenses on our big libraries, but not for our entry-level Special Editions, sorry to say.

Hi Jackmon,

Yes that's possible.
Just note that you will need to connect the eLicenser dongle (ViennaKey) with the licenses to the other computer in order to work with the samples.

Thanks for getting in touch, it seems that both those resellers didn't update their prices and the fact that since a while, four pianos are now included in the Synchron Pianos Full Library.
I already reached out to them and notified them of their outdated pricing and incomplete product details.

I confirm, you don't need to add the Orchestral Strings and Solo Strings Bundle again in this scenario. The complementary discount is automatically calculated when you put the Symphonic Cube into the basket! :)

Thanks for your interest in upgrading!
Sorry to say that our upgrade paths actually don't work with your upgrade plans, you can only upgrade the whole Woodwinds I to the Full Library. This is because with our upgrade paths we (correctly!) expected that most users want to upgrade from single instruments to a collection, not from a collection to single instruments Full Library.

I also see when you made your purchase in March 2018 we already made an exception for you and exchanged your single instrumetns to the Woodwinds I collection. Maybe it's better to discuss this very special case in our support? Please contact our sales department, best with details on which instruments you want to upgrade, and I'll be happy to see what we can do.

Sorry to hear about that!
I just took a look at what I believe should be your key, if I found the correct one everything should be okay with it and you should be able to transfer licenses.

Have you tried to update your eLicenser Control Center at www.elicenser.net?
If this doesn't help, please contact us at with more screenshots (including the key# and the error message), and I'm sure we'll find a solution to this.

We are happy to see such a resonance to this important topic, and we can see that many of our users are embracing the new possibilities.
For reasons of copy protection security, we can NOT go into detail regarding the processes that are now possible in the background.

However, the gist of it is:

Personally, I'm really, really happy that we can now offer an option which I believe is a good and decent solution. :)

To answer your question Cyril, we requested this feature with Steinberg too, I don't know the current status on this. The good news is that you can also use your existing ViennaKeys that are older than two years with the Vienna Protection Plan! So there's actually no need to do a mass transfer of licenses to a new ViennaKey.
