i did try this out Theirry .. sorry for not getting back to you sooner .. i've been really busy.


the .lso is cool .. i really appreciated being able to try it ... i know i can't make regular use of it though .. simply because because i'm happier using keyswitches to change articulations .. and i don't use so many altiverb instances because of my computer ... i run a dual 2gig g5 only ..


but .. a big thanks ..it was fabulous to root around in it , rather than just see the jpg .
it really is a beautiful environment

Last night I changed one of my VSL templates over to your fabulous articulation tool

i have to thank you and salute you for your generosity . It's an amazing addition to the VSL stable.

i was a keyswitching worker before all these channel splitters and your articulation tool, and i can see the speed of workflow about to improve . Thankyou for these improvements..


now that i tried it and intergrated it a question jumps into my mind ( i have a possible answer there too, but that is up to everyone else too )

will you be writing a Tool along the lines of the articulation tool , but that is focused on repetitions ?

it would be incredible if you were to and fingers crossed you might think about it.


.. this is one thought as an answer... what if those of us that are still using Pro Ed were to pay you ? how much would everyone be willing to donate.

i for one would gladly paypal money in your direction for such a tool, as this would bring the repetition samples back into my regular work flow..

i'm guessing that maybe others would feel the same..

reading this 1st mac reports leads me to believe there is still a lot more work to do on these VIs and maybe the vsl silence on the mac side has been because of this ..


i'm sure i'll end up "upgrading (buying again)" the vi set .. but it won't be until the reports are a helluva lot more encouraging


edit... i see testing is taking place currently .. will watch .

i hope to god VSL has given you the whole VI set .. if not , they should !!

i feel it's sad how quickly the VSL reputation has reversed in the last 2 / 3 months

from good, honest guys who i felt we were a model to other sample companies.. (the spectrasonics of the orchestral world) .. to "i'm not sure i'd trust em anymore", ..dates missed (pre orders), promises broken (vip upgrade policy) ..v sad.

i'm sure they're all lovely guys.. but somewhere i think the "look after your customer base" has been forgotten
