5.Buy 2, Get 2 Free! Full Library 2/3/2019 6:32:57 AM

Hallo Stefan,

I did not understand correctly maybe because some time ago I saw in my account a different cost to upgrade the individual instruments to the Full Library even if clearly the upgrade to the whole library is cheeaper economically.

Thanks

maurizio

6.Buy 2, Get 2 Free! Full Library 2/2/2019 7:31:06 AM

Hallo,

I have already bought Woodwinds I SL and Flute Ensemble FL, is it possible to buy the Full Library of single instruments with the February offer?

I would like to mention that in my account it would appear that I did not purchase Woodwinds I SL and Flute Ensemble FL

Thanks

I think the problem is that, having bought a single instrument library before, when you "upgrade to the collection standard library", what you actually get are merely single instrument licenses for all the other instruments in the collection (you can check this on your vienna key). As I wrote the single instrument standard licenses are for most instruments identical to the SE version, whereas the collection license, that you get when you purchase the collection from scratch, contains significantly more content (as detailed above). I had exactly the same problem and ended up upgrading to full to get all the unreduced versions (full single instruments licenses are identical to the full collection content).

I thnk it is a pity that VSL does not explain all these subtleties properly on their site ...

Cheers

Kai

Hi Kai,

I also made it, maybe it's just like that. I wrote to the support and I await the answer.

If it is really so I am disappointed and irritated for not having found any clear indication anywhere.

I had read your post and I was sure that from the single instrument to the Complete Standard Library I would have had the instruments with the version not reduced.

I would have definitely opted for a different purchase

Thank you

On my hard disk Installed File Size is 11.95 GB (including Flute Ensemble Full) vs 41.6 GB shown on the site.

Perhaps having previously purchased Flute Ensemble Full now makes me install the remaining libraries as purchased separately?

This would not be correct!

13.VSL Woodwinds SE1 or standard ? 3/25/2018 1:18:17 PM

I bought this morning Woodwinds I Standard Library, I compared with SE, which I bought several years ago, and the articulations have the same number of layers, they are the same as the SE.

It is also reported in the manual

have of course more articulations in Woodwinds 1 standard than SE

Unfortunately the VSL website does not really explain these differences …

Unfortunately it is not so, maybe once, but now in the Woodwinds 1 Collection Standard Library, although there are more articulations of SE, the main (detached, sustain, legato and more) are exactly the same.

Even if I do not need the three-player ensembles, I bought Woodwinds 1 Collection Standard Library, taking advantage of the current offer, hoping to have a not reduced version of the main articulations in the single instruments, instead I have the duplicate of the SE, certainly more articulations, but in the main layers themselves ...

I'm quite disappointed because with a better description of the product I would not have made this purchase

Hi Paul,

I have MIRx - really nice - but in this case I used Space Designer on a bus by adjusting all traces on pre fader.

With the latest versions of LogicPro X you can use "real stereo" panning that allows a very effective tool placement.

I do not have technical bases to mix and I basically try to reproduce the reverb and spatialization of the executions that I like most.

16.E. Elgar - Larghetto from Serenade for Strings op.20 5/5/2017 7:01:20 AM

William is perfectly right, score reading and personal processing are the only serious approach to music, this is the attitude I've always had with my instrument, always refusing to listen to the great executions before I have developed my own. In fact I was very embarrassed by your congratulations on the musical aspects of a performance that is not mine. Sorry I should have explained immediately that my intention is not to propose my interpretation but to make it probable to render a strings ensemble with the virtual orchestra. On guitar I know how to accomplish my ideas what I find very difficult with orchestral strings. After several unsatisfactory attempts on some of my small pieces I thought that trying to reproduce a good performance might be the right way. Indeed this meticulous observation has made me clear the ideas on how to proceed. One of the aspects that strikes me most is how the bows strongly affect the overall yield. I hope to be able to propose soon something entirely mine.

For now I still apologize to everyone for the misunderstanding

Maurizio

18.E. Elgar - Larghetto from Serenade for Strings op.20 5/4/2017 11:49:44 PM

Thanks to all for the positive comments, but I want to point out that my merit is merely craftsmanship, since this work is largely based on the splendid performance of the Concertgebouw Chamber Orchestra.

I have always been fascinated of the sound and dynamics of strings ensemble, musical aspects to me foreclosed - I play the guitar - so the opportunity to "play the bows" thanks to the virtual sounds is, besides the study, the source of a great personal pleasure.

I am also convinced that imitation aware of fine performances is the best approach to thoroughly the executive practice of various musical instruments families.

best regards

Maurizio
