Hey folks, long time VEpro user. I had VEpro working on my MacBook Pro just fine. 2019 intel machine running Catalina. Just got into a new Mac Studio running Monterey. In moving the 30 something .vep64 files over to the new computer, the logo/icon on the file is gone and therefore VEpro can't open them. I have moved my VEpro license over to the ilok format... wondering if that has anything to do with it..... looking for some answers.

Hey folks….. long time vsl guy and vepro too….. I have a dilemma…. I was working from a 2013 Mac Pro with 32 gigs of ram. Thought it was time to upgrade and bought a 2019 MacBook Pro with 32 gigs of ram. Much to my dismay, 32 gigs today just isn’t enough and there’s no way to upgrade the MacBook Pro. However, I still have the 2013 Mac Pro….. I would like to use the 2013 Mac Pro as a slave with vepro but I have no idea how to set it up…. I started the process a few months ago but gave up due to the complexity of the project….. do I need separate monitors, mouse, and keyboard for the slave? My vsl libraries are on external SS drives. So many questions. I’ve been told this is easy…. Haha! 

The other question would be if I just use VEPRO on the same 2019 MacBook Pro as my studio one software, am I conserving ram that way as well? 

Maybe you folks know someone that I could hire to set me up.

I'm about ready to throw in the towel with S1 and VEpro..... The cons far out weigh the pros.

Crashes, insane saving times right in the middle of doing edits and the overall cumbersome factor.... and the bottom line is my macpro is probably strong enough to not use VEpro..... I'm basically using it because I can and I bought it.... UGH!!

Is anyone out there using VEpro and S1 5.2?

Hey folks........... Big DP user for years......... switched over to Logic because of the 64 bit issue.......... having a great time in Logic and VE pro at 64 bit.

When I try to do a project in DP however the playback audio is a mess...... stuttering, skipping etc........ tried both 32 and 64 bit servers.......

I'm running snow leopard with a 2x 2.8 ghz quad core with 22 gigs of ram......... I see some of you are running DP just fine with VE pro.

any ideas?
