Hi,

please launch the standalone version of Komplete Kontrol to trigger a rescan of the plugins. If the problem remains check if our plugins are listed under "preferences/plugins". If not, you can add them manually via the tab "locations".

I am editing this mesage to say that after updating Windows 10 to latest version the problem was solved.

Says same thing here. I managed to load it as a plugin in KK User tab

Problem # 2: In Cubase 10 windows Komplete Kontrol, stand-alone or as a plugin: I can't rename anything inside the Synchron UI.. the keyboard is activating Cubase 10 shortcuts when I try to type anything!

Problem # 3: In VE Pro 7/Synchron Player inside KK: same thing whenI try to type (to rename), and can't see the synchron patch shortcut on the channel.

Edit: Rescanning all plugins solved the first problem (no plug-in error message), but problems 2 and 3 remains.

There are no synchronized version of Alto flute, Clarinet in Eb, and ensemble versions from woodwinds 1, why?

And what about Special woodwinds? Completely skipped, is it coming soon?

I have the Taiko Bonus from SY Percussion I (1.17GB) and I just installed the new Taiko Bonus for Epic Orchestra 2.0 (2.3GB). Why is the difference in size ? Is it the same Taiko? Windows 10 here.

Hi Paul,
I love synchron Player. Here are some GUI suggestions that I think synchron player can take to reduce clutter:

1. Make a new tab for the side keyboard, docakable in the same pane like the Preset/Patch browser.. If possible make it dock left or right.

2. A horizontal tab at the top would serve to temporarily replace the dimensions pane while the user is browsing the MIDI loops (much like VI Pro basic/advanced tabs), instead of a totally seperate window as is the case now.

javajam, to be fair, VSL has always used the term “full” vs. “standard” as having the extra “articulations” not “instruments”.

Now having said that, i wish VSL returns to the earlier synchron-ized libraries and give them same treatment, i.e. same full set of articulations, round robins, dynamics, etc.. to make them identical to their vi counterparts. Of course the challenge for VSL is not have existing customers pay for what they have again just to be able to use “VI Pro v. 3”.

I personally do not like the results very much. It can produce an acceptable staccatissimo effect, but not spiccato. I'd stick to the performance spiccato patch. Appassionata Strings have one. Synchron Strings do not, which really bothers me.
These are short samples and the point where it starts to sound unnatural and obviously manipulated is quickly reached. But more importantly, an edited or time-compressed staccato will never sound like spiccato because the bowing is different. You just can't make the sample sound as if the note was performed with an off-bouncing bow if it wasn't played that way.

Couldn’t agree more. And so the wait for Synchron Strings II commences.. Paul?

Hi Paul,
I am referring to the Strings onlyupdate V5 (latest). All the V2 projects has the individual sections (VL1, VL2, VA, VC, and DB) but not the Strings patches. So I have to open the V5 separately, so when I open the Strings Matrix or Preset (V5) it still has empy slots.

To those that have already bought it like myself, vsl have just added insult to injury with the new voucher offer as it is now a further 100 Euro cheaper!

The delay was irritating but it happens. The fact it is now 100euro cheaper is just really bad.

This whole thing with the delay and now an even better deal is a total kick in the teeth for those who have bought it weeks ago.

I’d go further and request that we early adopters be credited for the difference.. Paul?

+1. Actually to my surprise, unlike instrument player and VI Pro, Vienna Imperial works out of the box with Komplete Kontrol; i.e. All CC's work , parameters can be controlled with knobs, labels are laid out Correctly, again out of the box. I have an S-88.
