thanks VSL!  I'll be interested to try this, although I can't take my MIR pro away from my main slave PC.  I'm sure I'll purchase another license of MIR pro 24 eventually, but it might be nice to have another licensing option to only run this new plugin.

I had some trouble with my 828 mkII with a PCI firewire card once and learned that they can be picky. this was on windows though.  I think they might work better with a texas instrument chipset.

Yes.  using it on another key was what I was thinking.  and of course aftertouch as a CTRL map would be much more useful and I would be happy with that. 

I am very lucky to have a kurzweil Midiboard and I can tell you the aftertouch is very controllable. and poly aftertouch gives me a lot more options so I can have one key basically act as a slider.   it also has an excellent feature called mono mode which is like auto voicing a little bit but to seperate midi channels.  each key pressed sends mono aftertouch on a seperate channel which can be useful.  one thing is it a way to enable poly aftertouch in only mono pressure supported synths.  of course with the draw back of many instances of the plugin you are using, usually only three or four will do.  I've tested it with VI pro by converting aftertouch to controller... it would be nice to not have to do that.  

I'm definitely really hoping to get aftertouch added relatively soon and was sort of suprised it didn't make it into VIPro 2.  I hope it will be an option as a cell switching controller and in the performance controls. 

Yes. I really couldn't be too much happier as it is, but My top three wishes:

1.folders/track hiding/grouping features for organizing.

2.sidechaining support.

3.reliable external midi in even in a server instance..(although I admit I haven't tried it yet the word experimental sort of makes me nervous and I hope this is planned to be implemented) would be nice to have another way to get around AU 16 channel limit and integrate with external midi gear directly.

I've just purchased Vienna Instruments Pro 2 in anticipation of future libary purchases. Now I am learning using epic orchestra and starting to play with the sequencer.  Is the sequencer content included in the install?  I can't seem to find it anywhere or much information in the videos or manual.

I would just like to add that this would be amazing in vienna instruments, based on watching the videos. But also midi out support for vst

Instruments would be great..such as bfd 2 and geist patterns to trigger other instruments, ideally even sending it back to the host or to another vepro.  I realise there would probably be a latency issue but this is still pretty nice in reaper.  I think i read somewhere au plugins don't support this unfortunately though.
