BBO Harps was recorded exclusively for the Big Bang Orchestra Series by Tina Žerdin, Veronika Villányi and Magdalena Fürntratt. All three harpists performed together, each one adjusting phrasing, timing and touch to the ensemble, resulting in a natural, organic blend that no layering of single-harp recordings could ever achieve. Each harp was captured with two different close microphones, along with mid, Decca tree, surround and high surround setups, so you have complete control over your mix, from intimate detail to cinematic spaciousness.
The three harps can thus be played as an ensemble, but because of their individual microphone positions you can adjust their relative volumes or play only one or two of them, too.
There are two Precision Preset types: VelXF, where velocity crossfading is activated so that you can change volume with the modwheel (MIDI CC 1) while a played note is sounding, and Velocity, where note volume is controlled by the keystroke velocity.

The harps play in 8 different scales and chord types:
Major
Minor Harmonic
Minor Melodic
Dominant 7
Diminished
Pentatonic
Whole Tone
Chromatic
In addition, there is a special slot with thunder and gong effect sounds.
Mode switches: C1–G#1

For every scale and chord type there are several articulations available, which are always mapped to the same keys, so that you can easily exchange one scale for another without further adjustments.
