Vienna Symphonic Library’s sample libraries and software products are used by music creators worldwide, from Hollywood composers like Alan Silvestri and Danny Elfman to jazz legends like Herbie Hancock, and hobbyist composers around the globe. At Synchron Stage Vienna, we’re recording film music for clients such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Disney, and all other major film studios on a daily basis. To support these endeavors and much more we are expanding our team.

 

IT System Administrator (m/f/d)
Full Time, Vienna

Together with our IT team you will be responsible for making sure that our IT infrastructure runs reliably at all times. You’ll be the first point of contact for colleagues with problems and questions.

Your Role:

  • Client support: mainly Windows10/11, but also increasingly macOS
  • Server support: Microsoft Server 2012R2, 2016, 2019, 2022, supporting the introduction of Linux systems
  • Knowledge of used services is an advantage, including MS SQL, MS Exchange, IIS, cluster solutions, AD DNS DHCP...
  • Support of telephone system, WIFI solution, video surveillance, access control, backup systems with and without LTO robots
  • Network support: firewall (with external support), switches, routing
  • Creation of documentation


About You:

  • In-depth experience with all common operating systems, especially Windows 10/11 and macOS
  • In-depth experience with Microsoft Server and Linux distributions
  • Ideally knowledge of MS SQL, Exchange, IIS, cluster solutions, AD DNS DHCP
  • Good communication skills
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills
  • Ability to interact effectively with team members at all levels and across departments
  • Background in software/hi-tech and/or music a plus
  • Good data analysis skills, problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to create understandable documentation

For legal reasons we are obligated to mention that the minimum salary for this position according to the collective agreement is €2,287.25 gross per month. Your actual salary will depend on your personal professional experience and qualifications.
