Icons are supposed to be mostly self-explanatory. However, some of MIR Pro 3D’s concepts are not so easy to convey in a rather restricted area. Many of these buttons consist of an Instrument icon and the stylized representation of a cardioid microphone. They are of course equipped with pop-up hints. Nevertheless, here’s a list with explanations.
Venue Map controls

3D Controls | Opens a pop-up message with 3D navigation commands for the Venue. |

HotSpots | Toggles highlighting of the Venue’s HotSpots. |

Grid | A 1x1 m grid overlay to facilitate setting distances on the stage. |

Titles | Display the names of all Instruments – crowded stages might look better without them. |

Follow | If activated, whenever you select an Instrument in the right-hand Instrument list, the Venue view focusses on that Instrument. Will not work if the Instrument was already selected. |

Find in Venue | Focusses on the selected Instrument. Makes most sense when “Follow” is inactive. |

Set Natural Volume | Sets the Instrument’s volume to that defined in its Instrument Profile. If the volume is changed, the button turns dark again. |

Aim at Main Mic | When activated, the instrument will automatically change direction to align with the position of the Main Microphone. Original direction information is kept and retrieved at deactivation. |

Directivity Profile | Enables / disables the Directivity Profile for the dry signal. Off by default. |

Air Absorption Filter | Takes into account the influence of air absorption on the instrument. | ![]() |
